Julian joined ELEVEN in January 2021 as Group Chief Marketing Officer having spent the previous twenty years working at the intersection of marketing, technology and sport.
Starting out in the agency world, Julian held senior management roles with Sapient Razorfish and AKQA where he ran global accounts for brands such as BMW, Nokia, O2, Sky and Telegraph Media Group. In 2010 Julian was responsible for leading AKQA’s continued global expansion, successfully setting-up and launching the AKQA Berlin office.
The last ten years have seen Julian immersed in the world of sports marketing working with Manchester City FC, Glasgow Rangers, Valencia CF, NIKE, American Express, IRONMAN and Williams Formula 1.
In his role as Group CMO Julian is responsible for global marketing and brand strategy, data strategy, consumer research/insights and partner innovation.
