ELEVEN SPORTS AND iSPORTCONNECT TO PARTNER FOR TALKING SPORT SERIES

Eleven Sports will partner with iSportconnect on a new series of the Talking Sport webinar.
Talking Sport is dedicated to looking at how the sports business industry tackles the global pandemic and builds for the future.
The first series, delivered by Eleven Sports and World Football Summit, addressed the future of sports sponsorship, eSports, digital fan engagement, women’s sport, investment opportunities and more. Speakers included: Luis Vicente (Eleven Sports, CEO), Peter Hutton (Facebook, Director of Sports Partnerships) and Al Guido (San Francisco 49ers, President). The series attracted over 2,000 unique registrants across seven episodes.
ELEVEN and iSportconnect will now work together to grow the series with a bi-weekly format that brings together more leading figures from across the world of sport, to share their insights and opinions with the wider industry. Sustainability, the future of sports streaming and sports governance will be amongst the themes addressed.
The debut episode will be streamed LIVE and for FREE on Thursday 13th August, with full details to follow soon.
Eleven Sports Group CEO Luis Vicente said: “We created the Talking Sport series at the height of the pandemic because we felt that this was a moment where the sports business industry needed to come together and share insights and solutions for the future.
“As live sport returns around the world and we begin to re-build, we’re delighted to be partnering with our friends at iSportconnect for a new series of Talking Sport. We will be inviting more innovators and leaders onto the show to discuss the lessons learned during Covid-19 and look at the steps we can take to come through this time in as strong a position as possible.”
Sree Varma, CEO of iSportconnect, added: “We are delighted to be joining forces with Eleven Sports to continue the fantastic work started by Eleven Sports and World Football Summit so far with Talking Sport.
“People are always looking for the inside track on the sports industry but, at such a unique time such as this, there is more to discuss than ever. Sport has continually adapted over the years in order to thrive and grow and it must continue that process now. I am excited to hear the terrific knowledge and experiences that experts across a variety of fields will share in the coming weeks and I am delighted iSportconnect is playing a part in bringing this to the masses.”
Eleven Sports and iSportconnect will partner for a total of six webinar episodes over the coming months.
